Nikki Glaser came back to host the 2026 Golden Globes and no one was off limits in her January 11th monologue. Not even Leonardo DiCaprio, who she hilariously called out for being too coy about his personal life.

Macaulay Culkin got a warm welcome at the Golden Globes where he was on hand to present best screenplay. Max seemed sincerely surprised and moved by how happy the audience was to see him and noted that he hadn't appeared at the ceremony since he was a kid. He even poked fun at his beloved Christmas movie, Home Alone.

Macaulay wasn't the only presenter who got the crowd on their feet. Heated Rivalry's Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie left the cottage to present a Golden Globe for a female actor in a limited series. But first, they gave a cheeky shout-out to fans of their beloved show.

Then later, her Ocean's Eleven co-star, George Clooney, presented the Golden Globe for best picture drama alongside Don Cheadle, and he playfully quipped that he didn't get the same love from his peers.

Some big winners of the night, One Battle After Another, who took home four awards, including best picture, musical or comedy, best director, and best screenplay. Teyana Taylor also got a standing ovation when she took home the first award of the night for best supporting actress for her role in the film. And she made sure to give her custom Schiaparelli dress the attention it deserves.

The actress then emotionally admitted she almost didn't write anything before giving a powerful speech.

In the acting categories, Timothée Chalamet got a kiss from Kylie Jenner after he won best performance by an actor in a musical or comedy. Wagner Moura won best actor by a male and emotion picture drama for The Secret Agent, which also took home best motion picture, non-English language. Rose Byrne is finally getting her flowers. The 46-year-old actress won the Golden Globe for best performance by a female actor in motion picture, musical or comedy for her role in If I Had Legs, I would Kick You. And Stellan Skarsgård won best performance by a male actor in a supporting role.

In film, Paul Thomas Anderson won best director for One Battle After Another. It was also a big night for Sinners who took home two awards, including cinematic and box office achievement. And of course, we can't forget about KPop Demon Hunters who took home two awards, including best animated film. While accepting the award for best original song for Golden, songwriter Ejae emotionally expressed her gratitude while looking back at her journey as a musician.

I worked tirelessly for 10 years to fill one dream to become a K-pop idol. And I was rejected and disappointed that my voice wasn't good enough. And so I leaned on songs and music to get through it. So now I'm here as a singer and a songwriter.

In television, Adolescence continues to dominate. The limited series won four Golden Globes, including best limited series, breakout start Owen Cooper continues to sweep. He picked up a Golden Globe for male supporting actor in a television series. His co-star, Stephen Graham, also took home best actor and Erin Doherty took home best female actor in a supporting role in a limited series. It was also a big night for The Pitt who took home best television series drama and Noah Wyle won best male actor in a television series drama. Seth Rogen's The Studio continues to be a standout hit. The Apple TV+ show won best TV series, musical or comedy. And as Seth noted during his speech for best male actor in a TV series, musical or comedy, the win itself was art imitating life.
