Sandbox Mode
We have made a sandbox mode available that allows you to test your API client code without incurring any charges.
When you request API access, the keys you recieve are restricted to placing sandbox mode orders only. The keys can be used to retreive any order, including real orders you may have placed before requesting API access. You can use sandbox mode for testing the various API functions - such as creating orders, checking order status, and downloading transcripts.
Sandbox orders are automatically transitioned through our workflow of being transcribed, reviewed and finally finished. They are transitioned to the next step in the workflow roughly every 5 minutes. When the order is finished, a sample transcript is attached to the order. This transcript will always contain the same text
To use sandbox mode, include the sandbox_mode=true option to the transcription or caption order endpoint.
