Rev Referrals Terms & Conditions

The Rev Referral Program (“The Program”) allows users of our Services (“Customers”) to earn monetary rewards (“Rewards”) by referring friends to become new users on Rev.

To participate, Customers must agree to these terms, which become part of the Rev Terms of Service. Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Rev Terms of Service located at https://www.rev.com/about/terms.

How to Earn Rewards

Customers can earn Rewards if: (i) a referred friend clicks on their referral link to create a valid Rev account that complies with our Terms of Service; and (ii) the referred friend completes a Qualifying Order (as defined below).

The referring Customer will be credited with the Reward amount(s) specified in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials after the completion of the referred friend’s Qualifying Order.

Qualifying Orders

A Qualifying Order must have the minimum total value indicated in the referral invitation, accompanying promotional materials, or Rev website. The Qualifying Order must be ordered and paid for via the Rev platform. An order covered fully by promotions or discounts will not be considered a Qualifying Order, and therefore no Rewards will be earned.

Sharing Referral Links

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Referral links should not be published or distributed on commercial or social media websites (including, but not limited to coupon websites, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, or Wikipedia) or on blogs. Customers are prohibited from using bulk email (“spam”) to distribute referral invitations. This includes mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not know personally or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute your referral link. Customers are prohibited from advertising their referral links. Customers cannot refer themselves or create multiple, fictitious or fake accounts to earn Rewards from The Program.

Paid Search and SEO

Customers are prohibited from bidding on search terms, ad words or advertisements that compete with Rev, or which include the words “Rev”, “rev.com”, or any variations thereof. Customers shall not include the word “rev” or any variation thereof in any url.

Referred Friends

Referred friends who have signed up using a valid referral link will also receive credit in the form of a coupon or coupons in the amount(s) indicated in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials that can be used on their first order on Rev.

If Rev suspects any fraud, tampering, violations of these terms or Rev’s Terms of Service, or technical errors in connection with any referral, Rev reserves the right to cancel your account or order, and may seek any other remedy to which it is entitled under the law. The Program shall be void where prohibited by law. If your order later qualifies for a refund, the maximum refund you may receive is the amount you actually paid.

Multiple Referrals

A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple Customers, only the Customer associated with the referral link actually used by the referred friend will receive the Reward.

Referral Cookie Lifetime

When a potential customer clicks on your referral link, a cookie is stored in their browser to track your referral. The cookie is then stored for 90 days to give your referred customers time to decide if they wish to purchase.

A referral won't be rewarded if:

  • The customer uses a different browser to purchase than the one they originally used to visit our site (because the cookie does not exist in that browser).
  • The customer purchases after 90 days (because the cookie will have expired).
  • The purchase is refunded or canceled before completion.
  • AS REFERRING CUSTOMER, IF YOU PURCHASE THE PRODUCT UNDER YOUR OWN LINK, WE WILL VOID YOUR COMMISSIONS.

We reserve the right to reject Rewards for any reason. Rewards rejections may occur for the following reasons:

  • The sale that the referral was based on was refunded
  • The method by which the referral was generated violated the spirit of the Affiliate Agreement.

Severability

If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Termination and Changes

Rev may suspend or terminate the Program or a user’s ability to participate in it at any time for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Rewards if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Rev Terms of Service. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Rewards can change at any time.

Updates to the Terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Rev.com website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
